And Then There Was Light!
So 11/11/11 was pretty eventful, the highlight being the installation of my new office lights! Well it was about time; I’d almost considered moving to a temporary room. Actually, my mum called up a relative who (I had no idea) works at the University’s Physical Plant so my filed request was magically expedited hehe.
My ceiling is quite an eyesore though. Removing the original tube...

What Becomes of the Brokenhearted
I never really was a fan of Adele but I guess we can chalk that up to taste. There’s no denying the young artist is mature beyond her years, but I wasn’t that hooked when she entered the music scene. Or maybe I just couldn’t stand Chasing Pavements and everyone attempting to sing the song on TV and (especially) in real life.

I’ve been working in the dark for two weeks now. My office used to have four working fluorescent tube lights… then became two, then zero. Thus I’ve resorted to using my desk lamp. Initially I was amused by the idea of working sans house lights; I described this setup as working in the mood not in the dark.
