I’ve lessened my consumption of Pringles ever since I found out that these “potato crisps” are really only 42% potato. Which is why I was ecstatic to find a multigrain version at the supermarket. The website promotion reads,

Pringles Multigrain succeeds where many others fail, giving you a multigrain snack that tastes great. So, while the can says “multigrain”, the three new delicious flavors will leave your taste buds saying “MMMMMM.”

The write-up implies that “multigrain” does not taste great. I don’t necessarily agree because I have found quite a few very delicious multigrain snacks (e.g., Sesmark and Kashi). What I do appreciate is that it didn’t use the health angle to promote these multigrain chips. No way is Pringles going to be associated with healthy eating! But this, I think, might be less damaging than the original version… hence compromise.
