365 Days of Narcissism = DONE!
Some people have asked me what had become of my Project 365. Well, I completed it! I deactivated my Facebook account in November, and Facebook was where I housed my gallery. I never forgot to take a picture every day though (or, at least, have someone take a picture of me), and every day of 2010 is accounted for in my personal gallery.
Fil (who also took on the project) asked me what my Day 365 picture was. You see, last year, we talked about how cool it would be to print out the pictures from Day 1 to Day 364, post them on a blank wall, stand in front of this year-long mosaic of pictures, and snap away! Voila, Day 365 photo!
Alas, my Day 365 picture was as basic as it gets:
I’ve always wanted a simple, almost low-key picture of myself in a plain white tee against a light background. It was one of my target pictures in the project but toward the end of the year, I realized that it never really materialized (though April 22’s picture comes close). I snapped this picture (via remote control) an hour or two before the year ended! It’s not perfect but I like it a lot.
In the last installment of my review of 2010 I posted pictures corresponding to my most memorable dates of 2010. This time I’m sharing my other favorite pictures from the set. Caution: narcissism ahead!

And my FAVORITEST picture of the year is…
May 10 (Monday). This was elections day, the first time I voted. The voting precinct was packed! To kill time I shot pictures (of myself in the empty classrooms) of the school. I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect the lighting was in this particular room so I took maybe 20 pictures (via self-timer — I was using a point and shoot!).

What can I say, that was a fun (if slightly vain) project! Of course I have to acknowledge my frequent photographers, JB, Candy, Sherwin, and my sister, for giving in to my whims. And may they never get tired because I’ve decided to do it again this 2011! The difference is, this year I don’t plan to publicize the entire set on the WWW. Though I might post select photos if I feel like it. This time (at least so far) the pictures are less narcissistic and more representative of the day. Two random shots:
