I’m still waiting for the official Fox release that THIS was an April Fool’s.

Since the Top 12, my favorites have consistently landed in the bottom three. Next week, the stools will surely be reserved again for Katie and Teflon Tim (who’s become annoying these past weeks). How unfortunate for me and all her fans that Didi, who hasn’t landed in the bottom three prior to this results show, is the one sent packing this week.

It’s funny because 1) I was telling a friend last Sunday that Didi was my true favorite this season (Crystal, second), and 2) I was just watching her Rhiannon performance (for the Nth time actually) earlier today. Really hate it when your favorite is the one to go.

If anything, it was great seeing her perform Rhiannon again, which is one of my favorite performances of this season. Looks like this is going to be her trademark Idol song.

Actually, I kindof loved her performance of What Becomes of the Brokenhearted. Which means I was in total disagreement with the judges.  With her departure, that leaves us with six guys and three girls.

This really has to be a joke.
