I didn’t even have to think about this one. Time to Pretend is probably my second favorite song, next to Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in My Hand. Never mind that I absolutely love this song or that it was played in one of my favorite movies (21), the words alone describe me to a T.

I could wax lyrical about it but I think I’ll reserve that for a proper Minor Details entry. Suffice it to say that, all my life I’ve never seen myself as genuine (“we’re fated to pretend”).
