I’ve been spring summer cleaning my office for two days now. Gotta have a decent, workable, livable space in time for the next academic year!

Anyway, unearthing forgotten documents, photos, and whatnot is one of the joys of cleaning. Like the very first exams I made as a college instructor.

Seeing them made me remember how easier things were way back when. I was hired mid-semester and was given only five units of workload. So yeah, I had all the time in the world to be creative and meticulously layout an examination. In fact, the second exam took the form of a CD inlay. It was a broadcasting course and I’d recorded the live broadcasts of my students for grading. I burned each student’s broadcast on a CD and placed it in the jewel case, together with the CD inlay exam.

Ah those were the days.
